Hey Breww Hive Mind,
We have a number of recurring tasks allocated to the Brewhouse that are daily, however it also included Saturday & Sunday which are 2 days that we aren’t in. Is there a way of setting a recurring daily task that is then only Monday to Friday?
It’s causing a bit of confusion out there - and heads exploding with all the “red” first thing on a Monday morning!

That’s a pain. It would be nice if Breww allowed us to set weekdays only for repeating tasks. That would be a good feature request I think?

Instead of 1 task repeating daily you could have 5 tasks repeating weekly. But that’s a bit of a pain to set up. Still, once done…
I had thought about that after realising it was going to trigger over weekends - however there’s loads to set up and just not enough hours in the day, so hoping the Breww chaps have a way around the issue!
Hi Libby, Thanks for your comment. Currently, ‘Tasks’ can only be scheduled based on a set amount of days, weeks or months; I can see how having more control over how a task is scheduled would be a helpful addition to Breww - it would be great if you could raise this as a feature request.
If the tasks you are creating are for the brewhouse, then there may be other ways you can handle them in Breww, depending on the task, for example, if the task is to ‘Clean a vessel’, these can instead be created through ‘Cleaning & maintenance’ schedules (please see: Cleaning and maintenance records in Breww ). had a quick look at the Cleaning & Maintenance section and whilst I can see the benefit for brewhouse kit - it doesn’t quite hit the mark for more general cleaning. For example fire extinguishers, roller shutter doors, external areas, control panels, electrical sockets etc etc. We would have to setup every single item as a piece of “kit”. Currently we use general recurring tasks that are allocated to the Brewhouse user and it works well, aside from the pesky Saturday & Sunday. I did notice on the cleaning & maintenance process that you still can’t exclude weekends on that too, so will definitely put in a feature request. Cheers
