Is it possible to reinstate an order due for delivery that has been cancelled or do I have to create a new order

Thanks for raising this on the community! Unfortunately, no; once an order is cancelled, it cannot be made active again, so you will need to raise a new order. We could certainly look to add this functionality. If I can ask you to raise a feature request, our dev team can review this for you.
