We’re exploring a way to create an independent distribution hub within Breww to better manage multi-business or 3PL-based delivery operations.
At present, users who rely on third-party logistics providers (3PLs) or operate their own multi-brewery delivery networks face a major limitation: there’s no way to integrate or consolidate orders effectively. The current workaround—sending collated PDFs—is inefficient, and CSV exports don’t include essential batch data for picking.
Proposed Functionality
When creating an order, users could assign a fulfilment method with an additional option to specify either:

A 3PL Partner, or
-
An In-House Distribution Team
This would differ from the current “Delivery (own vehicle)” option, as that setting applies only to brewery-specific deliveries.
The new “In-House Distro Team” option would allow for centralised logistics management across multiple breweries or brands under one group, or for integration with an external 3PL partner.
Configuration Concept
Similar to how courier integrations work today, there could be an additional configuration area within Breww where users can:

Define in-house distribution teams and/or 3PL partners

Set relevant parameters such as collection points, delivery zones, and service levels

Assign and track orders routed through these independent fulfilment hubs
The 3PL partners or in-house distribution teams could be given restricted access to the Orders area in Breww. This would allow them to either manage routing directly within Breww or export orders into their own delivery software.
Once deliveries are completed, they could then mark the orders as fulfilled within Breww, effectively closing the loop in real time — eliminating the need for separate email confirmations or manual completion updates.
