Dashboard customisation with custom KPIs & reports

A post was split to a new topic: Allow excluding “Stock transfer orders” from Sales Dashboard charts

Voted - think there is so much power possible here. If we could maybe add CRM activity to the overall Dashboard too that would be cool to see activity to conversion etc.

Just adding to say that, when introducing our wider team to Breww, one of the first things they ask about is whether the dashboard is customisable, so I think this would be a brilliant feature to introduce. Even if it was just a few different fixed options for the different user groups.

This would be very helpful

We extract data from Breww, Shopify, stellar, xero etc, link them up and create dashboards on top of them.

Happy to talk others through how to do something similar if you want!

(I’ve tried to remove sensitive bits from the images :))

Hi Craig, this is really impressive! Just the sort of thing I’m working on putting together for our brewery. I’ve not got anywhere near this level yet though!
If you can share what reports you are running to gether this information, that would be really useful. One of the problems I’m encountering is finding the right reports in breww to get the numbers out. Or if you feel like sharing the whole thing my email is [email protected] though I appreciate you’ve put a lot of work into this.
Cheers

Is there an update on main Dashboard customisation?
And more specifically, is there a way currently to hide sensible financial information shown in the dashboard from specific users?

I’m sorry, but there’s no update to report on this yet. We’ve been busy working on other requests, but do hope to get to this in the future. Please make sure you have voted for it (if you haven’t already).

Please see How do I know if there’s been an update on a feature request?

Thank you

Voting for this in terms of general customisation and also specifically to be able to remove the Deposit charged amounts from sales figures.
The deposit return scheme in Ireland is administered by an state body to whom the deposits have to be passed on by the producer.
Revenue figures need to be capable of being shown ex deposit as much as ex VAT.

Yes, I have voted for this in terms of general customisation too. Our sales figures include our tap room which I don’t want including in ‘brewery’ sales!

Any update on this one? Been top of the leaderboard for sometime and improving the reporting and dashboard functionality will make a huge difference for us in terms of time saved and data insights

Definitely. This would be a huge boost

Hi Craig, This is superb!
Equalling Bob’s sentiments on how useful this is. Would it be possible to be shown the light too? [email protected]

Issue:
Sales dashboards currently count both internal transfers (e.g. brewery ➝ distribution entity) and actual customer sales, leading to double-counting.

Suggestion:
Add a simple toggle on sales dashboards to switch between:

  • All Sales (default)
  • External Sales Only (excludes internal transfers based on invoice settings)

Use the “Invoice type” or “Invoicing details” field to identify and filter internal transfers. This gives clearer visibility into true outbound sales performance without disrupting multi-entity setups.

Request: Implement predefined dashboards for different user groups.

Current Issue: Dashboard is sales-focused by default for all users.

Solution:

  • Leverage existing user groups to enable 3-4 predefined dashboard options:
    • Production Dashboard (brewing/packaging metrics)
    • Distribution Dashboard (logistics/delivery tracking)
    • Sales Dashboard (current default view)
    • Management Overview Dashboard (comprehensive KPIs)

Implementation: Simple toggle option for administrators to assign (pre-defined) dashboard types to user groups.

Benefits: Focused information display for staff based on job function without overwhelming interface changes.

Thanks for the suggestion, @robert-jongkees. It has quite a bit of overlap with an existing thread, so I’ve merged these together as we’ll likely include your suggestions in this build. Cheers.

It would be a great feature to add general customisation to the dash board.

We run two different businesses through one Breww account with two separate linked Xero accounts. All the info on the dash board refers to the total for both businesses which makes the dashboard all but redundant as a feature.

Therefore it would be great to be able to filter the dashboard by invoicing detail / company detail.

Further customisation to filter by product, customer etc as per many above requests would be a fantastic upgrade.

For our business I would love to be able to see some of the sales figures but also inventory at a glance and maybe pending deliveries. These are some of the more important items that I would love to see in my personal dashboard at a glance!

If we are playing with the KPI’S
I would love to set sales targets and then see them on the dashboard, a dotted line for last year and a dotted line for target. For both the individual and the whole company.
