COGS report with stock item detail

Can you please create a report that breaks the COGS report further than the cost of ingredients and packaging as totals but instead shows specifically the stock items involved in packaging, and the cost of that item apportioned to the sold product, and the same for ingredients. Allowing grouping/sorting by sub-type would be handy off the back of this too. Thanks, Andy.

hey is there a way to do this report currently on breww? I need a breakdown of the individual stock item used per sku as well as the ingredients used in the liquid quantity.

We really need the break-down of COGS components (i.e. sugar, tea, bottles, cans, boxes, labels etc) for monthly sales of our products. How can we get this, or is it possible to generate a report for this? I am sure this would be something all businesses really need to know to properly understand their margins and have the ability to manage / improve them.

Good news, this is now live in Breww :tada:

The new COGS by stock item and utility/other cost report breaks your cost of goods sold for any period down into the stock items behind it: the ingredients, the packaging (bottles, cans, boxes, labels and so on) and any utility/other costs you record on your batches, with each item’s cost apportioned to what you actually sold. You can group it by stock item type, sub-type or individual stock item, and the “Product and…” options show the same breakdown for each product you sold.
