We’ve redesigned the stock item page so the first thing you see is what you actually hold.
Your stock at a glance
Every stock item page opens with four figures:
- On hand: your total quantity in stock. If you’ve set a reorder level, it also says whether you’re above it, at or below it, or out of stock.
- Stock value: what that stock is worth, based on the average landed cost of the batches you hold.
- Nearest expiry: the next batch to expire and its batch code. Batches expiring within 30 days are highlighted. This figure appears for expiry-tracked items only.
- Reorder level: the quantity at which the item counts as running low. If you haven’t set one, select it to add one straight away.
Batches in stock, where you need them
Right below the figures is a list of every batch currently in stock, soonest expiry first. You can search it by batch code, location or site, and sort it by any column. Each batch has its own buttons to adjust its quantity or details, move it to another location, or edit its batch attributes.
Fewer, clearer tabs
The item’s setup (costs per unit, default attributes, notes and recipe substitutions) sits together in one Details section. Everything else is grouped into five tabs:
- Suppliers: the SKUs you buy the item under.
- Used in: the products, recipes and batches that use the item.
- History: recent purchase orders and inventory receipts, plus the price trend chart.
- Stock log: every change to the item’s stock.
- Files: anything you’ve uploaded against the item.
Tidier actions
Use Add stock, Edit and a new More menu at the top of the page. The More menu is where you mark an item as obsolete, reactivate it or delete it.
