I believe our existing functionality covers almost everything you’ve discussed, including pitching, cropping, generation logging/calculation, traceability and showing on the vessel visualisation. The most notable exception is something specific to record that you’ve acid-washed the yeast batch and record the pH in a reportable way. You can, however, add a cell count and enter into the notes that you completed an acid wash.
As we discussed yesterday, we need feature requests to be for clear, specific, single features. Long requests that cover multiple features or discuss existing functionality in too much depth don’t work well in our feature requests system, I’m sorry. There’s more on this in our FAQ I’ve got lots of ideas. Shall I post one big request?
I’m sorry to be a pain, but could you please post a specific request for the acid wash logging feature? Feel free to also submit other separate feature requests for any other ideas that you’ve had, such as a warning relating to a maximum generation number shown in the vessel visualisation.
I know you hadn’t used the existing functionality before yesterday, so I’d highly recommend using what already exists for a short while before posting other ideas. This will likely help with the extra ideas fitting well into the existing structure and, therefore, make it more viable for us to implement them.
I’m going to close this thread as it doesn’t fit our requirements for votable, single/clear features, but we do appreciate the feedback. Please do post requests for specific extra functionality you would like to see added, and we’ll do what we can to get them implemented. Thank you.
