Hi there, we are an Ontario brewery who had a very easy order process until we launched Breww.
Our provincial liquor stores, “LCBO” , has a portal where orders are uploaded from hundreds of locations.
Our old process: download CSV file from LCBO portal>upload to old order system where they were automatically generated>once the orders were authorized they would be exported to QBO.
It seems like Breww’s only option is to manually enter each individual order for hundreds of stores line by line.
Has anyone figured out a workaround to this issue?
One that might work is to find an ecom portal where you can bacth upload orders (wix or square) and then those orders are uploaded to Breww. But wondering if anyone has actually tried this? Any insight?
Thanks,
Thanks for your question, Kate.
We have been building a tool to import orders for siutations exactly like this. The build is currently in testing & review, but has been stalled there due to other things taking priority. We’re going to bump it up the priority and get it launched very soon for you.
I’ll let you know when it’s live.
Thanks for your reply! We are trying to move everything over to Breww specifically to utilize your great inventory management and logisitics features.
Are any other clients of yours coming up with solutions to help in the meantime?
There isn’t a great workaround we know of at the moment. Using an ecom platform as a bridge could work theoretically, but would be a bit of work to get set up.
You shouldn’t need to worry, as we should be able to get this feature live within a couple of days maximum.
This feature is now live! If you head to Settings > Data imports & updates, you’ll see a new option for “Orders”. You’ll need to be a brewery admin to access this page.
We hope this helps. Let me know if there’s anything further you need.
