Hi,

Did you ever consider adding an UBL/XML invoice? This helps with clients automated processing of invoices.

We have been considering this. Thanks for putting this forward.

It should be possible for Breww to generate UBL XML files (with the PDF embedded).

Would you be looking for a setting on customers to choose if they receive the invoice as XML or PDF format? Most customers would probably remain with PDF invoices, but for some customers, you could switch them to XML and this would change the attachment that’s included on the invoice emails that they receive.

I would always send both. xml is a small file

Great news, we’ve added an option for this now :tada:

If you go to Settings → Email settings, then in the Invoice emails section, there’s a new checkbox labelled as When sending invoice PDF emails, also include a UBL (Universal Business Language) XML invoice; enable this option and all invoice emails will start to have two files attached, the PDF and the new UBL XML file.
