There’s been talk for a long time (before we had the Breww Community) of Breww sending SMS messages to your customers automatically to advise them of their expected delivery timeslot. This feature hasn’t ever been posted here, although it’s been something we’ve been planning to do.
This would be part of our Advanced Deliveries addon (as otherwise there’s no ETA available) and we would have to charge a small fee per SMS (roughly £0.05), as although most people’s phones have “unlimited free SMS”, we would need to use an API which would charge us. We would only be looking to cover our costs here, rather than to be profiting out of the message charges.
