Lock cost of transfer/racking/merge on batch when done and ignore any subsequent wastage

We currently send beer off-site for canning, however we might only take a few arlingtons worth from a bigger tank.

At the point of merging out that volume I’d like to be able to fix the cost/L at that point. This means the stock we get back from the canning has accurate liquid costs. At the moment it ascribes the cost of the full initial tank to the cans, even if we’ve only actually canned 20% of the volume in the tank.

Additionally whatever happens to the remaining volume in the tank, lets say we waste it, I wouldn’t want that to then impact the cost of the cans as we’ve already removed that volume at a defined cost/L.
