Would it be possible to link schedules to the Tasks menu. It would be really useful to be able to assign some of the recurring cleaning/maintenance schedules to a specific person, and have it flag up for them.

Of course there are vessels to clean and doing maintenance Actions, but they are part of the brewingproces. But there are also machines who do need maintenace and cleaning. For them it is very welcome to assign a task to person(s).

This is now live with production tasks 
Each outstanding cleaning and maintenance record becomes a task that can be assigned to a person or a group, and it shows on their production day until the work is done. That covers every piece of equipment with a schedule, not only vessels.
You can set a rule once for who normally does cleaning and maintenance, and add staffing plan rules for time off or different shifts. If a process needs signing off, the sign-off becomes its own task, which goes to someone other than the person who did the work where there’s anyone else who can sign it off. Upcoming cleaning and maintenance also shows on the production calendar in advance.
