Courier integration and weight of package

Hi,

I just managed to connect Breww to my dhl account. I ran a test for a small package - with a weight of 0 kgs - the label generated is for a 20kg + delivery.
Obviously that is more expensive than a small package - also when sending cans the weight per package will almost always be less than 20kg.

I can’t seem to figure out where it takes this information from/how to adjust it. any help?

Hi Gijs,

I’ve been looking into this for you. When a label is requested from a courier, we include the weight of each parcel, which is the total product weight on the order divided by the set number of parcels (not the number of products, but the number of parcels you can select on each order). Having a look at the logs for DHL NL labels, we correctly told them 0 kg. It’s then DHL themselves that decided the service required was the 20 kg+ one.
This could be because they know a parcel must weigh something, so they might be booking it as 20 kg+ to be on the safe side. Please can you try entering a weight for the product and checking if the correct weight service is applied?

Hi Matt,

Thanks - i’ll track it.

i did see that the delivery got weighed correctly during transit, so curious what they will charge me.
