Please add to that the ability to create and charge late fees. Breww users should be able to customize their late fee settings so it aligns with accounting software settings. Without that feature payments coming through an accountancy software won’t match with Breww invoices.
We for example offer Net 15 terms and invoice late fees after another 15 day “grace period”, so in effect offering 30 days before late fees begin to accrue.
Hey Breww team, I know this is my own post and I can’t vote for it again, but the inability for Breww to support late fees is has made a total disaster out of our accounting software syncing (Quickbooks Online).
It has become such a hassle that I have to disable late fees in QBO altogether. Now it would be nice if all customers just paid on time without the threat of late fees but the fact is that so many do not.
If anyone else would like to see this, please give this thread a vote.
If QuickBooks/another accounting platform is changing the value of a Breww invoice, that will cause all manner of confusion with payments, etc., so we would highly recommend not enabling a feature like this in your accounting software!
This is a complex feature, as while adjusting an invoice value after invoicing in Breww would be complex, but achievable, we would need to start syncing this change to all supported accounting platforms, and this isn’t something that our accounting integrations are able to handle at the moment.
Please keep the votes coming in on this and we’ll see what we can do!
