Ability to pre-assign batch number to a planned batch (before starting the batch)

It would be useful to have the option to pre-assign a batch number to a batch while it is in the planned stage, rather than waiting for a batch number to be assigned when the batch is started. For us, this is necessary for external planning/reporting purposes.

Hello,

Just adding to this - now that we are live with Breww, this has already caused us a few issues if the planned gyle isn’t then copied and pasted to be the same once the batch is in process. It would really help if this batch number was automated at the point of planning the batch! :slightly_smiling_face:
