I was diving a bit deeper in the trade store with the new rules (THANKS!) and noticed that on the beer page the product name is not mentioned at the purchasing options - you just see the container options
This is awkward as you can’t distinguish between 2 different versions of the same beer.
Making it even more confusing is that on on the product grid you see the different product names, you can click on a product, it brings you to the beer page and the name vanishes.

You can override this short product name that is appended to the beer name by using the Trade store beer name suffix override field on a product. You can set this by editing an individual product, or set them quickly by navigating through your beers using the tool at Trade store → Settings & tools → Beer & product management.
This should do what you’re looking for, but if not, please let me know.
The difficulty is that many of the places in the trade store specifically need a short name that doesn’t need to include the name of the beer itself (and it would be more confusing if it did). I don’t think making it easy for the whole product name to show in places where there isn’t really enough space for the full product name is the right solution.
Also, I expect the cases where you need to override the trade store beer name suffix are quite rare. Typically, the same beer isn’t packed into the same container type/quantity multiple times - and that’s the situation where you typically need to set this override.
