# \[trade store\] Option to show a product as in-stock even if it isn't

We have a couple of mix pack products we package on the fly. Currently they show as out of stock in the trade store. I would like them to not show the stock for these particular products

Thanks for the suggestion. It would be possible to have a setting that forced some specific products to show as in-stock regardless of the stock level, but you can already choose to use the “Theoretical max” stock level in your trade store settings, which will ensure these show as in-stock even if you haven’t assembled them yet (assuming the components are available).

Have you seen this option, and does it solve it for you? Or is there a reason why this cannot be used?

Hi Luke thanks for your response.

This general setting does not work for us, as we have beers that have different versions of products - this setting would show too high stock on those.

Hi Luke,

Not entirely sure if this is the same request as the one I’ve made. Rather than theoretical max, we would like to just hit the ‘available’ button and allow people to order stock via Trade Store, even if temporarily negative on the back-end. Theoretical max, in our case, also often dips into negatives due to wholesale orders.
