Currently all Recipe Cost Reports have the most recent landed ingredient cost as the default cost. I’d like to request a button to toggle between the Expected price and the landed cost for each ingredient. The landed cost is based on how much each ingredient has cost in the past, which isn’t relevant for upcoming new recipes, or seasonal brews. It’s possible to override the material cost on the report, but you have to do this manually for each individual ingredients.
This feature would make it mush easier to forecast the cost of stuff down the line, with the volatility of ingredient prices factored in, rather than an average of previous costs. I’d like my ingredient costs to reflect the actual prices. Not an average of what they used to cost.
Please upvote my suggestion, I’m getting bored of having to enter actual costs over and over.
