This feature request is for adding full support for direct debit payments within Breww, via Stripe. This would allow for both trade store orders and non-trade store orders to be paid for via direct debit and would include Bacs, SEP, ACH & BECS, depending on the currency of your account. We do plan to do [GoCardless direct debit Integration](https://community.breww.com/t/gocardless-direct-debit-integration/1683) too, but as we already have a Stripe integration, we expect to be implementing Stripe’s direct debit integration first. This feature request is still outstanding, @thomas-trivedi, so you can’t set it up yet (we need to build this before you can use it). Once we’ve built this feature, we’ll post a message here and explain how to set it up 👍 Cheers. ---

Hi All - I believe GoCardless is not as widely used in Australia as the UK. I’ve voted for this FR and would really value a Direct Debit option using Stripe. Thank you! ---

I voted for this… will complement the STRIPE Credit Card integration by having ACH payments automatically post as paid in BREWW and save us $$ over credit card payments. ---

We would also greatly benefit from this! Most 3pl companies in our area operate via DD and our customers are accustomed to it. ---

This has been in the pipeline for almost 2 years and has massive benefits - any word? We have to disappoint customers by not having this option - also we want to have this as a feature for some customers that have some trouble with prompt payments. ---

Any update on this? I have told customers it’s in the works for over a year now… Have even started to develop an internal “credit card authorization form” for the sales accounts who have inquired about D.D, and struggle to keep up with payment.. I save their credit card info internally, and just go into each invoice, and input the info myself in Stripe.. A huge time consuming run-around for a simple feature that seems standard across the industry.. ---

I’m sorry, but there’s no update to report on this yet. We’ve been busy working on other requests, but do hope to get to this in the future. I cannot stress this enough!** I couldn’t recommend more highly that you **do not save customers’ credit card information** , even if you do this in PCI-DSS compliant manner. The fines you risk by doing this out of compliance are potentially huge ($5,000 to $100,000 **per month** until compliance is restored), and becoming compliant when saving card details is complex to achieve and maintain. Hopefully you are already compliant, but I wanted to highlight this in case you were unaware and als ensure anyone else reading this is aware of the requirements too. You can charge customers cards repeatably over time in a compliant manner if you get them to enter them online directly via our Stripe integration and charge them again using the Breww/Stripe integration. You should never know their card details throughout the process.
