# Suppliers Merged - best way to handle in Breww?

We had two suppliers merge - BSG and Rahr - new company is now RahrBSG (for those of us in Alberta).

Should we create a new supplier? Should we merge the two and delete one of them?

Has anyone else done this yet? What’s our best option?

Hi Simon, Thanks for your comment. It is possible to merge suppliers in Breww by heading to the supplier’s page and selecting **More actions → Merge duplicate entities**. This process is outlined in more detail [here](https://docs.breww.com/merging-customers). Merging will consolidate the purchase order and inventory receipt history into a single supplier account, and your stock items will remain linked to the supplier. Creating a new supplier would mean you would need to link your stock items to the new supplier, and no previous purchase history would be visible on the new account. Thank you Ben - now I see why I couldn’t find it in a help search - didn’t think that they were duplicate entries. Because they weren’t originally. The wording was off for me!
