Have subtypes available for packaging types / Ability to add your own customisable Subtypes. At the moment carboard, cans, kegs are all just down as packaging which is very generic. Especially as this also includes our web shops packaging materials.

Example subtypes for packaging could be: Box / Keg / Can

Added bonus if we can create our own subtypes.

Thanks for the great suggestion. I’m linking this with [Allow for custom ingredient sub-types](https://community.breww.com/t/allow-for-custom-ingredient-sub-types/993) and [Subtype Merchandise/POS](https://community.breww.com/t/subtype-merchandise-pos/2058) as I think we’ll be able to handle all of these in a unified update to this section 👍

We’d decided to close this in favour of [Allow for custom stock item sub-types on all types of stock item](https://community.breww.com/t/allow-for-custom-stock-item-sub-types-on-all-types-of-stock-item/993) so that one can build all the votes. We’ll make sure that the other thread covers these requirements.
