# Source option on leads

It would be good to have some source options on leads so we can mark where they have come from - social media, email, referral, event, word of mouth…etc.

Great news, this feature is now live 🎉 We’ve added some pre-set “sources”, but you can configure your own options. The source can be set on both leads and customers, and of course, if you convert a lead to a customer, it will keep the source it had from when it was a lead.
