Recipe Reporting Tags and custom reports

Hi,

When could it be possible to use the customisable reporting function with the recipe reporting tags?
It will be really helpful to have this report.
Thanks

Hi Vincent,

Thanks for the question.
We’ve got this on our list, I’ll add a vote on your behalf and let you know when the report is live.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi there,
Is there a way to run a report using the recipe reoprting tags?
Thanks

This isn’t possible yet. I’ve moved this thread to the feature requests section, which is where all feature requests are now tracked, so we can ensure this get’s tracked through to implementation. Please give this a vote using the button in the top-left if you’d like to see this feature added. Thanks :+1:

It would be helpful to be able to access reporting tags using the Raw Data Explorer. Our brew and lab teams would like to have the ability to export logged brew data to Excel, for in depth analysis.
An example use case for this would be:
Suppose we are having an issue with a certain off-flavor in one of our beers. We believe that it may be related to a mash condition, but it’s not obvious just by looking at raw numbers what exactly might be causing the problem. If we can export relevant readings to Excel (i.e. pH, temperatures, volumes etc.), we could then analyze the data using statistical means, and hopefully get a better picture of what is causing our problem.
This is one simple example, but there are many possible uses for this type of reporting.
Please let me know if this belongs under this feature request, or if I should start a new one. Thanks!
Dave

We really need this function. We are a larger brewery and we have setup our recipes to have many reporting tags and its no good if i can’t pop them in excel! We are only asking for a data export field?

Agreed, this is an important feature that is missing.

Great news, this report is now available :tada:

It can be found at ReportingPre-built Production and inventory reportsRecipe reporting tag records.

We hope this is useful and thank you to everyone who voted for this

Hi Luke, Can you add Brand to the report? It currently only sorts by gyle. Sorting by Gyle and Brand would be much more useful.

Outstanding! thank you Luke! This will be very helpful.
I do agree with Aaron that exposing some other info about each batch would be helpful. We can cross reference it but it would be much easier if data like brand etc. would be directly accessible in the report’s field list.

Thanks guys. We’ll look to get the beer name added to the report and filter options, and let you know when this has been done.

Hey Luke, I’ll put a separate FR in for that. It is quite important for the usability of this report, especially for those who don’t use Excel very much.
Thanks though - it’s a big step in the right direction for sure.
