# Racking (packaging) process streamlined for best before date entry

Recently, we [introduced a step in the racking process](https://community.breww.com/t/input-bbe-best-before-expiry-date-at-confirm-racking-stage/2491) to allow you to set the best before date instead of using the [date from your rules](https://community.breww.com/t/how-to-set-your-best-before-dates-or-expiry-dates/1788). This step is useful and important to many people, but for the majority of people who want to use the Breww calculated date, it’s another step to have to click through. This step has been removed, and the option has been bundled into the final confirmation step. You still have the same flexibility, but we hope this is a better overall user experience.
