How is everyone accounting for quality control stock in their facilities? Right now, we have QC set as a “location” within our “brewery” site, but there isn’t a way to stop products in the QC “location” from being added by Breww to orders via auto-assign. If we place QC in a different site, then we run into issues with reporting product movements for taxes. Does anyone have a workaround? What do you do with your quality control stock in breww?
Cheers!
Hi Nick, Thanks for your comment! It sounds like our Delayed racking release and Retract stock from sale tools could help with this. A delayed racking release allows you to place stock on hold, either until a specific release date or until you manually release it. This is ideal if you want to hold stock for quality control purposes without making it available for sale. Similarly, the stock retraction tool lets you pull stock back from a racking action so it can’t be sold.
These guides explain both features in more detail:
I hope this helps, but let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
