# Price list sorting by product code

Hi,  
When sending a pricelist to our customers we want it sorted by tags or Product-code.  
So we can group-by: Core-range, Seasonals, Collabs, One-Offs etc.

Now it’s only possible to sort on beertype or ABV.

Thanks for the suggestion, Gerard. This is slightly more complicated than it seems, to be honest.

Products on price list are first grouped by either the beer name or the type (keg, mixed-pack, etc). There’s sorting of these groups and then sorting of the products within each group.

How would you like this to work? For example, when grouping by beer, we could allow for sorting by beer code rather than beer name, and then product code within the group? And when grouping by type, we could allow sorting by product code within the grouping, but with no change to the sorting of the groups themselves?

But I’m not sure how sorting by tag would work, as both beers and products can have multiple tags. How would you suggest tag sorting works with the context of the groupings and then the products listed within the groupings, and when there are multiple tags on a single beer and/or product?

Yeah, there can be more then one tag. So that won’t work.

We have our article-code grouped per range of beers. So for us this would work.  
Or add an extra Dropdown field to the products with 1 selection, to specify which group it belongs to for sorting/printing.

I understand it’s not easy.  
But I would like to customise the pricelist output to my needings.
