We need to apply different best before dates in Breww to the same beer depending on whether it is bottled or canned, as far as I can see there is no way to differentiate as they are both classed as small pack?

We could adjust the best before manually when entering bottled stock with a longer BB but is there a way that this can be done automatically?

Hi Neil,

Thanks for posting on the community! You are right; currently, there is no way to automatically set different can and bottle smallpack product BBE dates. There is an open feature request for the function to [Input BBE (best before/expiry date) at confirm racking stage](https://community.breww.com/t/input-bbe-best-before-expiry-date-at-confirm-racking-stage/2491), which might be helpful as a start; if you want to give that a vote. Otherwise, if you need a mechanism for Breww to automatically assign different BBE dates based on the type of small pack, then I am sure we can look at whether this is possible for you if you wouldn’t mind raising this as a feature request so our dev team can review it for you.

If you have any questions at all, just let us know!
