# Phone Number with Extension

Is there any recommended way to add a phone number extension? Right now the import fails validation on those (ie, 319-666-1212 x123) so they are all getting peeled off.

Thanks for your question. I’m afraid that currently these will need to be added directly to the customer/contact without using the bulk importer.
