# PDF only customer statements emails (Option to exclude the Excel file)

Hi, when we automatically send customer statements the email has both a pdf and excel file of the transactions. Is there anyway the excel file part of this be deselected as we send statements to some large organisations who only accept pdf documents and the excel report is prompting an error message reply.

Hi Louise, Thanks for your comment! It isn’t currently possible to include only the PDF, so I’ve converted your post into a feature request to make sure it’s logged with the right team. If you could add your vote to it, that would be great! Cheers.

Thanks for the great suggestion, Louise. A new setting has been added to **Email settings** to allow you to configure if you’d like the PDF, Excel or both files attached to the emails 🎉
