On loading with beers, recipes, styles is proving really long winded for me. I know i have spoken to someone about this previously; an ability to link your profile from the likes of Brewfather for recipe formulation that has BJCP guidelines to port over so we do not have to go through the beer styles, assign beers, name them etc would be great. Or alternatively have beer style names and guidelines preinstalled. adding beers, to call them a lager/pale/ipa; even on the import section in raw data input that i feel should already be there…unless i am missing something here. We can then edit the description, abv and so on. I know the data points and reporting is fab, but having to generate that and dictating a beer needs a mash in the process seems pretty obvious for a ‘beer’ as a drinks catagory.

Any good?
[How to import recipes using a BeerXML file - Help docs & tutorials / Production - Breww Community](https://community.breww.com/t/how-to-import-recipes-using-a-beerxml-file/3162)
Or is it just the styles that’s the problem?

I am looking at the recipe formulation side of things, and the added stages that i am having to go through to get single recipes over: name, beer assigned to, vessel plan, stages and readings. this is taking so long to create a single beer, and cannot see the benefits in creating my own set points for reporting, tagging and so on, when all i need is what another software has in pre set readings and reporting to filter over. Please tell me i am missing something here and getting frustrated with a very obvious fix?

Well, if you have a bunch of recipes with similar stages - the easiest way is probably to create one “master” recipe, then **duplicate** this for your other recipes, and change what you need.

Peter, are you looking for [Calculations on brew sheets with ingredients specifications](https://community.breww.com/t/calculations-on-brew-sheets-with-ingredients-specifications/474)? But with pre-sets?

If not, then I’m sorry, but I’m not quite following what your request is for, so if you can explain further, that would be really useful. Thank you.
