When creating customers in Breww, either through the main Customers page or via the importer, it gives the option as to whether you would like to assign a sales person to the customer; it could also be seen as the account manager.
There may be occasions where you need to reassign the sales person for a single customer or for multiple customers.
On a single customer
Select Customers and find the customer you want to change the sales person for. This will take you to the overview of the customer’s account. You will see a box with the title Details. Click on the pencil next to Sales person/ account manager, allowing you to reassign this customer to a new sales person.
On multiple customers
If you have an extensive list of customers, changing the sales person on each of them one by one may take some time. However, by using our bulk update tool, you can change who is assigned to multiple customers; our Bulk updating your Breww data help article will guide you through how to use the updater, where you will be able to update the salesperson in by bulk.
Which user will be credited for the sale
If you operate with account managers for customers, then you can assign them as the Salesperson on the customer, as described above. This means no matter who processes the order, the ‘sales person/account manager’ will be listed as the salesperson on the order and when reporting on sales figures. However, if the customer has no salesperson assigned, the sale will be credited to whoever entered/raised the order.
