How does a Stock Check work with Purchase Orders?

We’re just starting to use Breww to order our Stock Items and are having issues. When we run a stock check it appears Breww is including batches of beer we have already brewed in creating a purchase order. We expected that if we had no production scheduled, a stock check would result in a recommendation to order nothing, but in fact it seems to be including batches that are in fermentation. i haven’t had much luck finding anything about this in the help docs - how do we schedule production in the future, then run a stock check and generate a PO for just the ingredients needed for these upcoming batches?

Thanks,

Keith

Seems to work for us - is there stuff unallocated to in-progress brews? Or something?

It would be really nice if the Pre-brew stock check could “show its working”. I’d love to click on a amount required figure and see how it was calculated (which batches / dates)

Hi Keith,

Thanks for raising this in the community! I answered an almost identical question a couple of days which you may find helpful (Checking future ingredient stock levels & generating purchase orders from a pre-brew stock check - #7 by stefan-king) If you need us to look into this a little further for you on your account, please feel free to raise a support ticket from the need help section of Breww, grant us access and drop in an example that you are seeing. I can then take a look into this for you.
