I haven’t utilised the ‘Hop Contract’ feature in BREWW yet, but am looking to implement it now, and cant find much information on how to set it up correctly. Just after advice. I did start, but have had to delete and start again.
I assume the ‘Hop Supplier’ will populate itself once I start entering information?
You enter each contacted item separately, rather than just all of your ‘2024 Contact’ together? How does this look once you start to use it?
What does ‘Code’ refer too? Is there something specific that should be in here to make using the feature more useful in the future and for historical information. When I first tried I entered the Contact Year, but was then told I cannot use that code again as it already exist.
Any tips appreciated.
Hi Chris, Thanks for your comment! When you create a hop contract in Breww, you can state the supplier, the contract period, the hop stock item, and the quantity. The ‘code’ refers to a ‘contract reference’ that can be entered to help identify the contract.
You enter what you have been contracted for for each hop separately rather than having this under a single ‘2024 contract’. As you start to receipt stock for this hop from your supplier through inventory receipts, you will see that the hop contract Remaining hop quantity gets updated on the hop contract, similar to my screenshot below:
I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else! Cheers!

Is there a way to add an entire contract from a single supplier? It take a really long time to add each item one at a time.
Hi Landon, Thanks for your comment. Currently, it isn’t possible to create an entire contract under a supplier; however, this has been raised before in the following feature request: Hop contract improvements for multiple lines, not just hops, fine grain control over which items come from which contract, etc . It would be great if you could add your vote to this feature request. Cheers!
