Hi It would be really helpful that when you rack a container it gives you the option to give it a delayed release date just like it does when you do the initial racking from tank. I know that once you have racked a container to a new container you can then go into the batch find the new container and then put it back into a delayed release state but that is really time consuming. It would be much easier if as you were doing the racking from one container it had the option for putting in a delayed release. This would help us when we are filling BiBs where the casks go up in our cellar we then turn them into BiBs on the system but obviously they aren’t ready straight away as they need to settle and condition again. Over here we deal with small pack a little differently than usual for bottle conditioning. We will rack into casks during the week and then do a bottling run usually on the Friday with 2-3 batches that came out that week. Using the ‘Rack from container into small pack’ Feature this has been really useful. However, unlike when racking from the FV menu, you cant delay release for either conditioning or other reasons. This will then have a knock on effect with our stock availability. Due to there being no option to hold stock from availability through this process we end up with ‘Green Conditioned Beer’ being available through our trade portal. We ask that the Stock release options to be available in the additional information stage of ‘Rack from containers’ Thank you ---

Oh yes, this should be an option. I think you can still “retract” the stock though? It would be an extra step. ---

@jon-kyme2 Very good point! The feature request still makes sense, but you can go to the batch you have racked from and retract the stock into a delayed release through the actions tab on the batch.
