# Customer Account Pop-Up Notes

Would it be possible to create a pop-up note feature for customer accounts? Ideally, this would allow us to add a note such as:

- “Outstanding invoices – check payment”
- “Allocate credit to this order”

The note would appear automatically when a new order is started for that customer, serving as a quick reminder or prompt for action. It should also be easily removable once the relevant action has been completed.

This would be a really helpful tool to support our workflow and reduce the risk of missing key account actions.

Let me know if this could be implemented or if you need any more details.

Thanks for the suggestion, Hollie.

We already have a feature called “Private alert notes” which should cover this for you. If you go to a customer, then use the **More actions** menu and **Add private alert note** button, you can add notes that show obviously at the top of customer accounts and all their orders.
