The Margin by invoice report is useful however is there a way to split the costs further in the report so we can see the costs of the individual components that make up this invoice.

There are already quite a few margin reports - that can group the data by invoice, customer, product, etc. Are you looking for one with effectively no grouping and shows all invoice lines one by one?

Most of the margin reports group, I am looking for a report that can split down the cost element into more detail. ECT
You can see that product x uses
5kg of x malt £2
2 KG of CO2 £1
Electricity £1
Overhead absobstion £2

And having this all in one report.

Good news, this is now live in Breww 🎉

Hi Jamie, the new COGS by stock item and utility/other cost report splits the cost of what you sold into its individual elements, all in one report. Group it by “Product and stock item”, and each product is broken down into the stock items that went into it (your malts, CO2 and so on), plus any utility/other costs you record on your batches, such as electricity or overheads, as their own lines.

Full details are in the announcement: [New pre-built report: COGS by stock item and utility/other cost](https://community.breww.com/t/new-pre-built-report-cogs-by-stock-item-and-utility-other-cost/7450) .

We hope this helps!
