# Allow basic text formatting (colour, bold, italic, strikethrough) in key input areas

It would be great to have the ability to have text formatting within key area’s of BREWW

Only basic formatting required: colour, bold, italic, strikethrough (hyperlink would be a nice to have if easy)

Area’s I would like to see this applied:

- Recipies (both in the step creation, and user entered notes on brew day)

- Batch Analysis

- Other locations where user enters notes

The benifits of this change are:

- Ability to make **key points** within a step **prominent**
- Ability to set up template recipies, and highlight variables that need changing as they are recipie specific
- Ability for key points or parameters to be _emphasised_ within notes
