# Additional 'Reporting Period' drop-down options in reports and graphs

When generating reports, I often find I have to set a “Custom date range” because there is no option for “Last month” or “Fiscal year to date” or “Last fiscal year”. And on the Dashboard: would really prefer to see graphs showing our fiscal year rather than calendar year. Would also be useful to have an option for the dashboard graphs to show the “Last 12 months” as opposed to current “This (calendar) year”.

Thank Erik. Could you create a separate feature request thread for the dashboard graphs request? Although both features you have requested relate to time periods in reporting, they are completely separate implementations and so one will be lost if they are bundled together in this thread. Cheers.

I’m pleased to confirm that the following new options have been added 🎉

- This month
- This quarter
- This year
- Last month
- Last quarter
- Last year

At the moment, the fiscal options haven’t been included due to the complications of each business having to configure when their own financial year is, so we’ll keep this request open for the addition of these options in the future.
