In the trade store access request page, we would love for customers to be prompted to input information such as delivery window, instructions & any other info we may require from them to streamline orders. This page should be customizable as each business requires different information to streamline its logistics. It would also be great for customers to be able to let us know when orders are urgent and require special delivery… ---

Thanks for the suggestion, Tom. Can I clarify where you’d like to customise the questions? The title says “Request access”, but “…let us know when orders are urgent and require special delivery” sounds like a per-order question? Are you looking for both “Request access” and the “Checkout” to be customisable? ---

Hi Luke, We’d love to add questions to the ‘request access page’ - we simply need more information from them before they sign up to our trade store. e.g. delivery windows, payment terms… essentially we’d like the customer to provide more info for our finance and logistic team. On the checkout page a field where they can let us know if this is a special urgent order needed same day or the next day for example would be helpful as this occasionally happens within the business currently. ---

Thanks Tom. There’s already a notes box in the checkout which they could use to request a special/urgent order, but I do agree some prompts for other questions there might be useful to help guide the customer into telling you the information that’s useful for you. We can only handle one request per feature request thread, so let’s keep this thread for the customisation of the “Request access” page, and if you’d like further customisation of the checkout page, please feel free to open a fresh request for that. Sure thing Luke. I assume this feature wouldn’t be hard to add as it’s only the request access page. It’s quite important for us transitioning to the Trade Store so is there any idea of how quickly this could be implemented? Appreciate your help 🙂 ---

I cannot give you any indication at this time as to when this can be done; I’m sorry. There are over 1,000 outstanding requests in the community despite us completing requests almost every day (with many of them considered by the requestor as quick/easy for us to do). They simply come in faster than it’s feasible for us to build. Hi Luke, I understand. How do we go about getting these upvoted? This feature is critical for us using the trade store, which in turn is good for Breww. We can’t really allow customers to sign up and order without getting all the info we need… ---

I appreciate that. The reality is that every feature on the list is important to the person who posted it (and everyone who votes for it). And so, in turn, every feature on here is important to us at Breww. Our dev capacity is growing all the time, but the honest reality is that features are requested faster than we can build them (we get multiple each day). We do plan to have a “focus” on the trade store soon, so I hope this can be included in that larger project. ---

I’ve recently set up the store and it just seems strange that the customer gives their name and then you choose to grant access then have to go back and fill in the rest of their company information manually. really need a form where we can select the info we need. ---
