# Add beer’s “Short customer-facing description” field as a stock label variable

I couldn’t find any topic relating to this. I’m surprised there isn’t, but apologies I there is.

Can there be a ‘variable’ that auto populates product notes from a beer onto its stock label?

We currently have different templates for each beer we produce. But would be so much easier (for whenever changes are required, like I am experiencing at the moment), to have a single ‘Cask Stock Label’ that auto populates more information, like it does for allergens etc…

(Hope that makes sense)

When you say “product notes from a beer”, do you mean the beer’s “Short customer-facing description” field?
