Ability to split a delayed racking release so some can be released now & some kept back for future release

We had a recent situation where we racked a beer into bottles but they were unlabelled for various reasons. They were set as pending release so they couldn’t be sold. Some of these bottles were later labelled as Beer A and then a few weeks on the remainder were labelled as Beer B. The issue we have is that the only option to release the beer to stock is to release all of it. At that point I think we could have put a dummy order on to block out the stock that we didn’t want to sell, but would it be possible instead to just release the amount that we want to be available for sale?

Maybe a separate query but I also don’t think the beer that was pending release has been included in our stock valuation. Is there a way of checking that because it really should be picked up.

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, Helen. I’ve renamed this to hopefully make it clearer what it’s asking for and attract more votes.

Regarding this, they should already be included in stock valuations. If you think this isn’t working, please can you open a support ticket with full details of which delayed racking release, which stock valuation and access to your account data so we can look into it for you? Thank you.

Thanks Luke, I’m glad you can translate what I was trying to say!

I’ve found them on the stock valuation report now, all good. Panic over.
